Common questions
- Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
- Primarily UK-based service businesses, but I do take on international projects where the work fits, typically website builds and SEO for English-language markets. Get in touch and I'll tell you straight whether it's a good fit.
- How long does a website build take?
- Most projects run 4–12 weeks from brief to launch. The Essential tier is typically 4–6 weeks; Professional is 6–8 weeks; Premium runs 8–12 weeks depending on scope. Timeline is confirmed in writing before work starts, and your review speed at each stage affects it too.
- What do I need to provide?
- You fill in a 10-minute brief wizard covering your goals, audience, and key pages. From there I handle structure, copy direction, and design. Providing your logo, brand colours, photos, and any existing copy you want to keep speeds things up significantly.
- Can I update the site myself after launch?
- Yes. Every site comes with a CMS login if you want one. Most clients prefer to send changes and have them handled cleanly, which is what the IDS Foundation/Growth/Scale plans cover. If you want full DIY control, I'll record a handover walkthrough.
- What if I'm not happy with the direction?
- You review at every stage before work progresses. Wireframes before design, design before build. Unlimited revisions within agreed scope at each stage. If scope needs to change, I quote the addition in writing before doing it. No surprises.
