Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

We are committed to improving the accessibility of our website. We aim to design and build in a way that works for people who use assistive technologies, who navigate by keyboard, who need adjustable text size or colour contrast, or who have other access needs. We welcome feedback and use it to prioritise improvements.

2. Standards we aim for

We aim to align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, where practical. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is a widely recognised standard for accessible web content. We have not yet completed a full formal audit of every page against all Level AA success criteria; this statement reflects our current approach and known limitations. We continuously work to improve.

3. What we do

We strive to:

• Use semantic HTML and clear structure so that screen readers and assistive technologies can interpret the content.
• Support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators where possible.
• Provide sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds.
• Use descriptive link text and, where relevant, alternative text for images.
• Design responsively so the site works on different devices and screen sizes.
• Avoid content that relies solely on colour, shape or position to convey information.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations:

• Third-party content and embeds: Some content (e.g. booking widgets, maps, embedded videos) may be supplied by third parties. We do not have full control over their accessibility and they may not meet the same standards.
• Older or legacy content: Some older pages or content may not yet meet all accessibility expectations. We improve these as we update the site.
• Dynamic content: Some interactive elements or dynamic widgets may have limitations for keyboard or screen reader users. We work to address these where we can.

5. Requesting accessible alternatives

If you need information on this website in a different format (e.g. large print, plain text, or a different way of accessing the content), please contact us. Tell us the page or content you need, the format that would help you, and your contact details. We will do our best to provide an alternative or to explain how to get the information in another way.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to respond substantively as soon as we can.

7. Enforcement and escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can use our Complaints Policy. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations for public sector bodies in the UK. As a private sector organisation we are not subject to the same legal duty, but we take accessibility seriously and will work with you to try to resolve concerns.

8. Changes to this statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the site. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date and version number.
