1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of this marketing website (domandigital.co.uk) and, where we provide a public link to it, our client portal and any related systems we operate. By using these systems you agree to comply with this policy. It works together with our Terms of Use; breach of this policy may also be a breach of those terms.
2. Acceptable use
You may use our systems only for lawful purposes. You should:
- Use the website to learn about our services and to contact us through the channels we provide.
- Use the client portal only for the purposes for which we have granted you access (e.g. project collaboration, support).
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others unless we have agreed otherwise.
- Respect the rights of others and the integrity of our systems.
3. Prohibited activities
You must not:
- Security and access: attempt to gain unauthorised access to our or any third party's systems, accounts or data; probe, scan or test for vulnerabilities without our permission; circumvent or disable security or access controls.
- Malware and harm: introduce viruses, malware, ransomware or other harmful code; use our systems to distribute or host such material.
- Scraping and automation: scrape, crawl, harvest or extract data from our systems at scale, or use automated means (bots, scripts) to access our systems, without our prior written consent.
- Abuse and harassment: use our systems to harass, threaten, defame or abuse any person or entity; send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or bulk communications.
- Impersonation: impersonate us, our staff, or any other person or entity, or falsely state or imply an affiliation with us.
- Illegal content: use our systems to transmit, store or promote content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property rights, or is fraudulent, obscene or otherwise unlawful.
- Interference: interfere with or compromise the availability, security or integrity of our systems or networks, or with other users' use of them.
4. Content standards (portal and user-submitted content)
Where you submit content through our systems (e.g. in the client portal), you must ensure that content is accurate, lawful and that you have the right to use and share it. You must not submit content that infringes anyone else's rights, is defamatory, or violates this policy. We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these standards.
5. Reporting misuse
If you become aware of use of our systems that you believe breaches this policy, please report it to us at legal@domandigital.co.uk. Include as much detail as you can (e.g. URLs, usernames, dates). We will investigate and take action as we consider appropriate; we are not obliged to inform you of the outcome.
6. Consequences of breach
If we reasonably believe you have breached this policy, we may suspend or terminate your access to our systems (including portal access) without notice. We may also take legal action where appropriate. We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities. Nothing in this policy limits our right to enforce our Terms of Use or any contract we have with you.
7. No obligation to monitor
We do not undertake to monitor all use of our systems. We may monitor or investigate where we consider it necessary (e.g. for security, compliance or to respond to reports). You remain responsible for your own use and for complying with this policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date and version number. Continued use of our systems after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
